Difficult starting of diesel engine
发布时间:2022-07-02
1. Check the low pressure oil circuit

(1) Check whether the diesel switch at the lower part of the diesel tank is open, and use the drain valve to drain the water and dirty oil in the diesel tank; Check and drain the water and dirty oil in the diesel filter and strainer.

(2) Loosen the vent screw on the high-pressure oil pump body, pump oil manually, and observe whether the low-pressure oil supply is smooth and sufficient. If there is air in the diesel that needs to be continuously eliminated, check whether there is air leakage in all links of the pipeline in front of the manual pump, such as whether the gasket of the pipe joint is damaged, whether the pipe joint is tightened, and whether the pipeline is damaged and cracked. When pumping oil with the hand pump, if you feel that it is difficult to feed oil and the oil absorption is not smooth, it indicates that there is a blockage in the low-pressure oil circuit. Check whether the filter screen, filter element or pipeline of the diesel filter are blocked. When the temperature is low, check whether the diesel brand is correct and whether the oil circuit is blocked due to diesel wax precipitation or water icing. Remove the blockage until the oil absorption is smooth and the oil drainage is free of bubbles.

(3) When using the manual pump to pump oil, if the diesel oil cannot be pumped out due to the above reasons, it indicates that the piston of the manual pump is excessively worn, or the valve is padded and damaged by dirt, or the seal of the manual pump is damaged. The manual pump should be replaced.

2. Check the high-pressure oil circuit
If the low-pressure oil circuit has no fault and still cannot be started, check the working condition of the high-pressure oil circuit.
(1) Check whether the high-pressure oil pump oil volume adjustment toothed rod moves flexibly, whether it is stuck in the oil stop position, or cannot supply oil due to other forms of damage.

(2) Check whether the oil supply time of high-pressure oil pump is correct. If the oil supply time is incorrect, adjust to the standard timing.

(3) Remove the air from the high-pressure oil pipe. If there is air in the diesel high-pressure oil pipe, it is sometimes difficult to eliminate it by driving the diesel engine with the starter, and the diesel engine is also difficult to start. To do this, loosen the bolts connecting each fuel injector to the high-pressure oil pipe, press the start button (or rotate the start key to "start"), use the starter to drive the diesel engine to rotate until each high-pressure oil pipe ejects fuel, and then tighten the high-pressure oil pipe connecting bolts.
